I am at a loss to explain Alan Colmes. He is not a young man. Surely he realizes that it was only two or three generations ago, when the Colmes family were born..... lived...... and in all likelihood, died at home. When children died after childbirth, their siblings met their new brother or sister. Family units mourned together. It was only natural.
Today, families can spend time together after a child dies or is stillborn (even at a hospital). It is encouraged. No Allen, it is not strange, it is very HUMAN to hold your dead child.
I heard this yesterday, but had to let some time pass before commenting. Even after all these years. It sure was nice of young Mr. Lowry stand up for the Santorum family. Good for him!
Let us hope that Mr. Colmes has had time to think abourt things. In all likelihood, he is very sorry.
