The Mikado is NOT a children's play it is an operetta by the 19thC English pair, Gilbert & Sullivan, often performed by amateur groups. They were known for their slightly satirical librettos which often poked fun at current trends and issues. The habit of inserting modern-day references in the score is nothing new and pretty harmless, especially compared with the things I have heard neo-cons urge and say about Obama things which are appalling and genuinely inciting. They are also more likely to call for executions even for kids who commit crimes as minors. These guys need to calm down, don't go to a Party and have a nice relaxing cup of Tea.

Of course it's not a children's play -- but why should they remove that line from the story - It adds so much to their propaganda.

Jimmy makes quite a habit of repeating lies he hears elsewhere -- For a while I thought he was just ignorant -- Now I'm beginning to realize he's in on the lie.

He makes the claim that he's on the side of TRUTH -- He wouldn't know truth if it reached up and bit him on his arse.

Thank you for listening and commenting.

Anonymous obviously didn't read the story. Just another opportunity to bash the show and spew hate. I'd think he'd have something better to do...
I did read the story because I followed the link. And if there is any "lying" being done, it was from the author of the article that was commented on. Commentary. His opinion.
But, it clearly shows the asinine thinking process that plagues the Left...

Every time I point out a misleading or flat out lie in any story you comment on, you ALWAYS come up with the same excuse - "that 's not my lie, go complain to the source" --- The fact is, you have a HABIT of repeating dishonest information. This clearly shows the pervasiveness of dishonesty of conservatives.
Also your attempt to always shift the blame elsewhere is absolutely ironic considering you tea party types stress the importance of personal responsibility. What's also absurdly ironic is that in your attempt to always place your own blame elsewhere you are using the Alinksky tactics that your side always blames the left for using...

I have no idea what you are talking about. --Jz

For some reason I mistook John's reply for being your own. Either way, most of what I said still stands.

It was early and I hadn't completely awaken yet ;)

Here lies the problem...

Well next time I'll have some coffee before I comment. It's sometimes hard to tell you both apart with as much ass smoke as you two produce.

Our "ass smoke" will definitely be better for you than the trash you've been smoking...
Might try thinking before commenting... But from what I've seen, thinking is a great challenge for your type.
